This Stained Glass Flycatcher is quite a striking bird from the tropics. I expect he catches flies but sorry this one is only for show! 13 pieces of colorful stained glass make up this 12" high piece of art. He is copperfoiled and soldered using the Tiffany method. The solder has a glossy black patina that has been carefully waxed and polished for protection and shine. Perched atop a genuine beaver chewed driftwood base. Wood collected by me from lakes in Northern Saskatchewan.
