Happy Easter I hope you all enjoy a delicious Easter feast and "many" chocolate treats!
Here is a peak at the last few commissions that I have made.
This beautiful panel was taken from a photo from the first turn into Little Bear Lake. How many thousands of times have I passed by it? Since 1963 I guess. Here are couple pictures of the panel installed. It went into the most amazing family room. Mounts from Africa and Canada. The fireplace (not pictured) is all river rock. The owner cut each one by hand. It is stunning!
The Bunny with Tulips went to Nova Scotia for a birthday present. I just love the Heron and am going to make one for the website. The Orthodox Cross was gifted from a customer to her best friend. The colors thru the window are amazing. The Woodpeckers on wood are very popular and a few of them are scattered around the US and Canada.
This bear in a driftwood frame will be available at the PA Gallery. Also this summer at Moose Horn Lodge/Little Bear Lake. The cute little Grover was a commission for a gift. He would be so cute in a child's room. The neat thing about the beaver is that he is "chewing" on a natural beaver chewed piece of driftwood. The last picture is a Cockatoo in a corner window frame. Work in progress. I think I will keep this one. I love it!
This is the beginning of a custom commission. Gladiolas and Lily of the Valley. It is 9" x 16" and done with lead. The Lily of the Valley will be an overlay on the panel with pearl beads simulating the flowers. This is my pattern built from the sketch inputted in The Glass Eye program, where you redraw the patterns and size them ready for printing. Generally my one employee cuts them for me then. Well she is my mom and she does it for free. Will post more pictures of this panel soon.
More to come on these three pictures in a couple weeks..... so exciting!!
